「THE BIGINNING」

 2022年の幕開けは、総勢20名の作家によるグループ展。

現在、世界は新種のウィルスにより混乱を極める中、作品を創る手は止めてはいられないアーティスト達。

止めてはいられない、ではなく「止めたくない」が彼らには相応しい。

 

生きるか死ぬかのこのご時世に、のんきな事（グループ展）をしようと考えた。

なぜなら、いつ死ぬか分からない状況下において、作品の作り手も”今”が一番大切な時。

作品を創る、アルバイトをする、テレビを見る、ネットで検索する、飯を食う、仕事をする・させられる・・・などなど。

これらは全て自分の人生の中で時間を費やす事柄である。

自分の人生の中で、起こりうる全ての時間が人生の一部分であるということ。

 

大切なのは何をしたいのか。

今自分にできることは何なのか。

今日、明日をどのように生きるのか。

その日その日が楽しい方がいいに決まってる。

 

“人生草露の如し辛艱何ぞ虞るるに足らん”

2022年の始まり（THE BIGINNING）は、この不安定な世界情勢の中で、人生のほんの少しの時間くらいはのんきな時間がいい。

The year 2022 will open with a group exhibition by a total of 20 artists. 

The world is currently in turmoil due to a new virus, but the artists can’t stop creating their works.

I can’t stop them, but “I don’t want to stop them” is appropriate for them.

I decided to do carefree thing(a group exhibition) at a time when it was live or death.

Because in a situation where you don’t know when you are going to die, the most important time for the creator of the work is “now”.

Creating artworks, working part-time, watching TV, searching on the Internet, eating, working or being made to work…etc.

These are all things that we spend time on in our lives.

That every possible time in your life is a part of your life.

What is important is what you want to do.

What can we do now?

How will you live today and tomorrow?

It’s always better to have fun that day.

“Life is like the dew on the grass, there is no time to fear hardship.”

The beginning of the year 2022 (THE BIGINNING) is a good time to be carefree, at least for a little while, in this unstable world.
